SEASCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY WHILE FIGHTING THE WIND

In today's video I'm out trying to do some seascape photography while fighting the wind that is hammering in from the sea and trying to blow me over, cover me in sea spray or sand blast me.

Nice video Ralph, hard work battling the wind but you did get some excellent captures. Great image with the lighthouse, got wet many times myself trying to get that extra step towards a better shot. 👍👌

Really difficult conditions to shoot Ralph, using a tripod would have been a "non go" for me. Really liked the dramatic scene towards the end of the video. Thanks for sharing!!

It was tricky. I wanted to use the tripod on the first images to try to do some multiple exposures on the waves but it wasn't a great idea. Thank you for watching and commenting

Hi Ralph. It is so great to see you back visiting the beach even though the conditions were "far from perfect". I actually just came back from a visit to a local former rice plantation, now a actively managed wildlife preserve, where the conditions (unbearable heat and NO wind) were far from perfect as well.... that is how it goes sometimes. I specifically liked your last photo at around 9:30 showing that the mediterranean is not always that slick mirror that some folks believe it is.... on a different not, changing lenses when the sand is blowing everywhere shows dedication and/or nerves.... Thanks for posting !!
