Man, what an incredible finale. It felt so good to see the ACS back in action after a 2 year break, and it was definitely one of the best seasons in the history of the series, and it was capped off with an incredibly action-packed final race. Seeing Kurt Busch ending his career on top was the perfect way to end such an amazing season. Thanks for an unforgettable season Geno, and we can’t wait for whats to come in the future

What season 13 is coming
@Mat1854..........8 ай бұрын
I'm late but I got to say a few things. I guess I forgot to comment lol. Kurt Busch lost at Fremont in the 2nd ever race in the ACS by wrecking his brother Kyle, this season he won at Fremont to finally overcome those demons from season 1. In season 2, Kurt had an amazing regular season, leading the points and getting his first ACS win at Bristol which only cameback last season for points races. Unfortunately he struggled in the chase and his rival Jimmie Johnson won the title. Season 3 and 4 were terrible season for Kurt but he cameback in season 5 for Furniture Row racing with a win and a shot at the title. But once again, he lost it in the last few races and Kyle Busch won the title. Season 6 and 7 were good seasons but he missed the chase in both simply for not winning a race. In season 8 he broke the winless streak by winning the Aflac 200 at Colon. Unfortunately he still missed the chase. Season 9 was the start of Kurt's career resurgence. From here on out, he was able to get one win per season which was unheard of from him in the start of his ACS career. He got 4th in points in season 10 and runner up in season 11 after 2 wins. He lost to young gun Ryan Blaney. Now in season 12, 10 seasons after his first win at Bristol, he comesback back to the same track with a chance to win the championship against his brother who already won the season 5 championship over him and who he had the issue with in Fremont in season 1 (which Kurt overcame to win this season). Against Chase Elliott, friend of Ryan Blaney who Kurt lost too last season, and Ross Chastain, who's running in Kurt's previous number. After all of this, after the season 2, 5, 10 and 11 that got away, Kurt Busch wins the Aflac Cup Series season 12 championship at Bristol in his retirement season. I thought about it this season when he was at the top of the standings and I thought it was too good to be true, but it did happen. Kurt Busch's story in the ACS is one of the best ever and your surpassed yourself with this finale Geno and i'm so hype for season 13! I'm mad at Brad lmao I was rooting for Kyle but I get it. Kyle did wreck Brad at in the season 8 finale but i'm still mad at the 6 lol.

Incredible journalism! Thanks for the reminder of the acs lore. I totally remember season 2. That was peak villain Kurt and I wanted to ruin him so badly back then 😂 keep in mind I was like 14-15 back in season 2. So I definitely let emotions play a factor in a lot of races lol
