Jeff, Todd, have heard about a theory of the tribe of Dan being involved with Phoenicia ns starting Judges and most May left Israel and did work as sailors and lived in other parts of Mederiterranean Sea?

Dan declined to show up at war when the other tribes needed him and idolatry, and they also did not take the land God alloted them but moved to the coastland also set up the first banking system when the jewishish people went up to worship the lord yearly ,this is a great study Google all the scriptures and it will lead you to this study,remember the blessing on Dan when Jacob died was he would be a serpent on the road that throws the the rider blessings to all great study
