Great start once you were on the line. Looks like you got some cold temps, which we have not had here in BC. Great vid

Ahh, crap, bummer about your tow behind coming off the trailer. Hope it turns up. I have been worried about that too with mine and decided I best keep it on the bed of the pickup. Beautiful day out there and some great marten!

You and me both about the sled not to sure it will though.

Looks like you guys have a great snow pack up that way 👍Minnesota had 3 inch rain last week no snow on the ground and lake ice is very thin. I picked up 2 fisher on my short 9 day season. Good luck trapping and don’t freeze up guys

the hard pack on the trail is about 12" and there is about 3 feet on the ground for snow. this last run the temp was way warmer the weather man was way off for the better..

Losing the sled sucks! Need to figure out what camera works better... At least your lunch selections are better! The afternoon ride in the dark seemed cold! LOL congrats on the catches!

the lunch selection was much better this time around. also the gopro works great as long as i warm it up after each clip. it will only work for about 10 min at a wack in the deep cold. also thank you for the extra batteries

Sucks about your sleigh Even in Alaska you have guys going down your line, you would think they would be smart enough to know there are probably trail sets

If there are Caribou. People will go anywhere. Caribou are life in the north.

I forgot, you don`t have registered trap lines
@outdoorsalaska Жыл бұрын
they have to ride pass not one but two signs that say trapline and traps in trail..
@outdoorsalaska Жыл бұрын
yes they do and for the most part the subsistance hunters dont take my line as it is not up top the hills where the caribou are at. its also very difficult to get above the heavy black spruce as there are not many trails from mine that go up there.

@@outdoorsalaska that's good that people stay off. And you have built in defense that makes your trail undesirable. Lucky you get to see Caribou anyways. Porcupine Caribou are all wintering in Arctic Village again. Don't think we will get any until spring we have so much snow. Just got another dump this weekend. 4' deep snow drifts all over the place
