Only want to do Mythic raid and Delves, I hate being timed, I hate being punished for already being punished... I hate M+ more than I hated having Covid.... So this just made me quit wow, last CE I'll ever get again... Had hoped I'd finally be able to have my time outside my raid days not be stressful, that I could have my time outside my mythic raiding be enjoyable and not hating my fucking life on any other days than raiding... But nope... 18 gilded will still not be enough for you to be able to push mythic raiding, so will still be forced to do M+ and I refuse, I'm done... Finally out and ready to play games that just let me enjoy all my time spend in it and not be treated like a sports player....

Gilded crests from 11 delves are there to help with upgrading those final 2 levels on hero track gear, which CAN actually be obtained if you only play delves. Its not supposed to get your character fully upgraded on myth gear

I feel like crests are such a non issue after they buffed the amount you get from m+ - if it's going to be the same system in S2, i think just doing m+ 8's will be way easier than bothering with delves

Yeah. Top tier delves are only easier if you play tank. Almost every mob becomes a oneshoty annoyance.

actually delves past T9 are pretty hard, I wouldn't say they are less hard than M+ up to a certain level.

they are just soo badly balanced between classes and roles, as a tank you can breeze through those, as a plate wearer it´s mostly fine, but with leather or cloth it´s the worst experience on the planet.

@@Eulrich Yes the stated goal from Blizzard was that Delves were " role agnostic" content. In practice however, that has not really been the case. I don't know how realistic that goal was in the first place.

@@christopherdaffron8115 That's why they found themselves with the need to postpone the addition of more delves companion per season and instead prioritize giving Brann the tanking role for S2. But, knowing Blizzard, Brann tank will be a clusterfuck to play with for atleast half the season.

I thought it was +10 M+ for Myth track vault not +8? +8 just rewards Gilded so that you can upgrade the Hero track pieces passed 619 right?

+8s only give Gilded with a Bounty Map, otherwise it's Runed. now if Runed comes as handily as Gilded, great.

I am stoked for this change, as someone who doesn't do mythic content but does heroic raid it really sucks having my hero gear stuck at 4/6. I don't need mythic track gear, but I do think it's not a big ask to upgrade my hero gear all the way. Fantastic

Capping it is an L decision lul. U need 15 to upgrade past 4/6. If u dont have any to begin with then u are limited to 1 upgrade per week on 1 piece of gear….thats horrible.

@@zuluschmidt Typical elites BS, people play games to get as strong as possible doing things they enjoy. The idea that the best gear should only be doled out for a certain kind of content is why blizzard is losing more and more subscribers. If it was up to me I'd sh1tcan M+ and raids all together and spend all my money and dev power on Delves. People love delves not just because they are solo able, challenging, and rewarding, but also because they can do solo one night, or doubles with a bud the next and up to a full 5 man group the next. That level of flexibility is the future of MMOs and WoW, leave raids and M+ in the past where it belongs.

It's just kinda lame to not be able to fully upgrade the track of gear that coincides to the content you are doing because it requires crests from the next tier of content. It's a super dumb break point for the crests imo they should change it so runic upgrades heroic track to 6/6. I just go play alts when i get gear locked anyway so idc

Talking of runed upgrading, are we going to get more than 2 in delves? Its an insult. You need 15 for an upgrade, but you get 2 for doing a tier 8. At least give 3....

so much hate in ur comments. i dont get it. here to show some love and tell you you're not crazy. solo players have no use for myth track gear. if someone decides not to play end game content they just dont need or even deserve end game gear as they haven't earned it through effort. imagine being 6/6 and walking into a delve lmao... u could run it over with 2 buttons. blizz throwing solo players a bone making gilded crests available at all and getting hero 6/6 to work towards. maybe they'll even be less afraid to do a m0 by the end of the season. To you, it’s only a problem of a company having two conflicting products when it harms the product you prefer, which is why you believe that delves getting a cap is fine. Delves being the lesser product is fine with you so long as M+ is given preferential treatment. It would still be more time efficient to do M+ for gilded crests over T11 delves anyway.

Capping gilded crests at 18 from delves will force people to jump to mythic plus once again. It's also messy having multiple different rolling seasonal caps for the same currency. Just let it be one shared gilded crest cap and be done with it.

I've never understood that concept....If you make challenging solo content give too good of rewards it takes away from M+ and Raids....Good? That means you have changed your GAME to one that more of the population finds fun and would play if they could. Loser elitists....I mean real wow players...that love high level M+ can surely find a few of their superior buds to play with, and mythic raids are the arena of sweatier corporation style guilds anyway. It's like a porn director going...if I add in more sex scenes...it will take away from people paying attention to all the dialog I wrote, and people buy my movies for my great character development... Also, the idea of the highest elitists not having a challenge being a downside? A game's difficulty should be based on the average player, not the top 10%. @Sly_404 because raid or m+ content shouldn't be "better" then solo content. The real answer is simple. All content, including conquest gear, gives you heroic gear and the crests to upgrade fully. Then mythic gear becomes available from every source with their own unique crests that only work above max heroic gear in their respective content like pvp. That way all are equal in open world and your gear excels at the content you choose. Then boo boo crybabies from M+ and Raids can't say "no fair, ours is harder, those peasants don't deserve the same gear". At the same time, a raid elitist couldn't come into late season delves and go right to +11 and killing the season boss. If they want the "easy" delve unique title, mounts etc. They would have to aquire and lvl their myrhic delve set gear too. Now that would be fair and the same argument would apply...."why do you need your mythic raid gear to be active in open world content when it's only needed for high end raiding?"

So just for 1 ilvl upgrade or a crafted item a month a player needs to do 3 weeklies to get the restored coffer keys for a whole month, complete the hardest available solo player content 3 times per week, and that's without a single piece of actual myth track gear. The amount of disrespect for a players time is ridiculous. Haven't seen anything promising about season 2 yet tbqh
