The cat stands for the EXO fandom EXO-L. She is pushing the button (voting online) to give power to EXO. As much as she does that EXO turns into cartoon characters (2D)..So Baekhyun stops her gently because they belong to the reality and they have to protect the earth. It is nice to watch these two videos as they show the full concept. They were assigned legends to protect the tree of life. They got kidnapped and drugged in “lucky one”. They awake at “Kokobop”. “Eve” was a chill time before “the war”. And finally they got their powers back in “power”. Such a cool concept planned way back years ago. Such hard working, kind, and nice men this EXO are. And as a grownup woman with lots of work to do, I am here to appreciate their hard work and enjoy the beautiful music (especially the ones without MVs.) I couldn’t help but wonder; what would the earth look like if these young men could really... anyways thank you for the video.

I don't know know if you show him live performances, but could you please show him EXO - Wolf in Japan? it's kind of a remix to the original but is so much better! I feel like he'd appreciate the stage and exos vocals:-) it's on KZbin from only a couple of months ago. could you also show him EXO - Sweet Lies, the song that was played at the end of Power! There's no video to it so you'd have to find an audio

They've actually performed the first song, Mama, in a heavy metal version. Power is produced by LDN Noise and the final part is actually what I think is EXO's best song of the year: Sweet Lies.

To better understand about EXO, I would like to share with you this info that posted by Milinda Wilson in Anthony Too channel "EXO-K 엑소케이 '중독(Overdose) MV - REACTION "... To truly understand EXO you need to understand that EXO debuted in 2012. "Mama" is EXO's debut song and MV and It is how EXO was introduced to the world and it explains the group's concept. So to really understand EXO you need to watch both of their "Mama" MVs. From the very beginning, EXO's concept is that they are aliens from planet EXO and they came to Earth with superpowers to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Forces. Each of the members has a superpower that is unique to them and almost every MV will have at least one if not all of them using their powers. Exo, as in exoskeleton, means "outer," so as a member of EXO they are outside the ordinary.The group's concept comes from the real term exoplanet, which is a term that is used for a planet that is outside our solar system, so their name was chosen to represent the fact that they are stars that are "out of this world" when it comes to their talents. EXO's concept is also connected to real life planetary and solar events so all of EXO's comebacks and new song releases for the main group of EXO are all connected to when eclipses and other planetary phenomenon take place. For example, their comeback for their "War" album and "Power" album coincided with when we had a solar eclipse, etc. SM Entertainment (one of the big 3 entertainment companies in Korea and around the world), the company EXO is represented by, and its founder, Lee SooMan, has all their release dates and concepts planned out for years and it all has something to do with real celestial events that are predicted to take place Now you also need to know that In the beginning there were 12 members and they were split up into 2 groups EXO-K and EXO-M. EXO-K sang and performed their songs in Korean and EXO-M sang and performed those same songs in Mandarin Chinese. EXO-K had 6 Korean members and EXO-M had 4 Chinese members and 2 Korean members. So to really understand their full origin story you have to watch both the K and the M version of "MAMA," not just the K version, because even though both the K and M versions of "Mama" feature all 12 of the members, the K version focuses on the K members and their powers and the M version focuses on the M members and their powers. Plus, this is a good opportunity for you to hear what the song sounds like in both Mandarin and Korean. Once you see "Mama" and get to know a little more about EXO's concept you will probably start to understand more of why EXO does the things they do and what makes them so special. However, since then 3 of the 4 Chinese members have left the group (short answer to focus on their solo work back in China) but there is still one Chinese member left, Lay. (Any performances or MVs you watch that took place prior to May 2014 you will see all 12 of the members. Kris and Luhan left in 2014 and Tao left in 2015.) However, now, because they no longer have enough Chinese members they no longer do separate promotions where the group is split up, but they still produce all their songs in both Korean and Mandarin they just now promote all as one big group EXO with 9 members. Not only does EXO have amazing MVs, but it is always double because any time they have a Korean version they also will have a Mandarin version, so it means they have to shoot two separate videos.Their fandom name is EXO-L because L falls right between K and M and I like to think it stands for Love. 😍 In "Overdose", they are using their powers to try and escape from the maze they are trapped in. They're not overdosing on anything except love. The box that D.O. had at the beginning of this was full of dirt. D.O.'s superpower is the power of earth or dirt and it gives him strength so he was using it to build his strength back up so he could try and escape from the maze. They were also trying to use their powers of teleportation, fire, light, etc. But as you saw at the end of this MV, the maze has only one way in and no way out. And I think it represents and mirrors the fact that they are saying they are trapped by love and once you are in there is no way out. As the English lines in this song say: "So bad, no one can stop her ... her love, her love (is) fantasy ... Oh, she wants me, Oh she's got me ... Oh, she hurts me ... someone call the doctor ... (her love makes me) overdose ... too much of your love makes me overdose ... too much overdose ... You're in my heart ... with you, I can't stop", etc. This song is kind of a love song about how powerful love can be that it feels like no matter how much you try to resist it you keep getting pulled back in like a drug. Although this is the EXO-K version of the song, all 12 of the members are featured in this MV. There are no backup dancers. :D (There is also an EXO-M version of this MV where the song is sung in Mandarin Chinese and the EXO-M members are more prominently featured in the MV, but all 12 of the EXO members can be seen in both versions.) Once you have seen "Mama" and start to understand EXO's backstory., if you watch any of their other MVs, such as their "Power" MV, it should make more sense to you if you keep in mind all the details about them being aliens with superpowers and how they are on a mission, etc. For example, their "Power" MV is all about how the Red Forces stole EXO's powers and they had to fight the robot, which was under the Red Forces control, to get their powers back. And once they got their powers back they were then sent to Earth. The one thing you have to keep in mind with all of EXO's MVs, and I really mean all of them (including EXO-CBX MVs and several of Lay's solo MVs), is that they are all connected and they all tell a little more of EXO's story and why they are on Earth, etc. Understanding "Mama' should also help you understand their Ko Ko Bop MV better as well. (Ko Ko Bop is supposed to be about them just arriving on Earth and learning to master their powers.) Some theories even connect the story in their "Lucky One" MV to the story in Ko Ko Bop. In "Lucky One" EXO has been captured by the government or someone and they are doing experiments on them to try and figure out what makes them special. In "Lucky One" they are using their powers to escape the facility. So some theories say that the story in "Ko Ko Bop" is them trying to detox from the drugs they were given in the government facility and the blue Ko Ko Bop drink Shuo mixes and the members drink is to counteract the effects of the drugs in their system. That is why they act so out of it and in a drugged state in Ko Ko Bop. Unfortunately, like I said, each part of the story is not necessarily in chronological order, so we as EXO-L have to become detectives and analyze every aspect of all of their teasers, MVs, songs, albums and live performances and piece it all together to understand the story behind it all. To help you pinpoint the powers being used in their MVs and live performances here is a list of the members and what their special power is. The members powers are: EXO-K Suho : water (Fun fact: did you know that Suho in Korean means guardian, as in the guardian of EXO,? That's why as the leader of EXO, Kim Jun Myeon's stage name is Suho) Baekhyun : Light Chanyeol : fire D.O : earth (dirt) which gives him strength/force Kai : teleportation Sehun : Wind EXO-M Xiumin : snow/ice (frost) Lay : healing Chen : thunder/lightning/electricity (As you can see, Xiumin and Chen were given stage names that sounded more Chinese so they would fit in better in EXO-M because they are the Korean members of the Chinese group) The Chinese members that are no longer part of the group: Kris: Flight (He was the leader of EXO-M when they used to promote as two separate groups.) Luhan: telekinesis (control things with his mind) Tao: Controlling time I know this is a lot of information to digest, but I hope it helps you understand a little bit of why EXO is so epic and what makes Kpop so amazing. 😉 .
