I was laughing when you started talking about formulas for pricing. 😂 I agree that you definitely need to know your worth and charge accordingly. Pricing yards is something that you get better with over time to the point where like you said you can look at a yard and tell how long it’s gonna take to get the job done. 👍🏾

I gave a quote the other day to a lady plus my cleanup price because the place hadn't been touched since last October. I gave her a bi weekly price. She then asked how much it would be to do it once a month!! I told her it would be more. She wanted something for nothing. I don't need them type of customers in my life lol. Also I have all my customers back from last year plus new ones already with my price increase!

Based on what I saw on the video, I would guess the property is roughly a half acre. We base our starting prices on yard size to screen out the window shoppers. I would tell the potential customer you are looking at a ballpark price of $70 per cut on a weekly basis. If they agree, then I will take the time to talk to the customer for more details and supply them with a quote based on their expectations. Sometimes the price may end up being $5 to $10 cheaper and there are other times the price will end up being $5 to $10 more.

We implemented a $100 minimum cleanup starting price a couple years ago. I"d probably only charge $50 or $60 after that depending if they wanna go weekly or biweekly 🤷We were supposed to start our regular mowing routes but, we got 6" of rain these past couple of days.
