Do you think the gtx 1070 can run some of the newer games consistently even on the medium settings??

Well, obviously depends on how well optimized is the game. But I've been able to play Black Myth Wukong at medium settings (with some highs) at 1080p getting 55-60fps. Also, Lies of P with max settings in almost every category running flawlessly at 1440p, and Lords of the Fallen (you can see how it performs in a video here in the channel) with medium settings. Elden Ring and Shadow of the Erdtree, both run perfectly at 1440p with max settings (except a couple highs). Hell, Steelrising asked for minimum requierements a 2060, and I've played that game pretty fluid (you can also check it here on the channel). Cheers!

@@PantoniStrikesBack Are you playing on a laptop?? Because I basically got the same specs as you including the gtx 1070 and even tho games run fine up to 60 fps I get overheating issues. I got an Acer predator Helios 500 laptop btw

@@crimsonskull9276 I play on a desktop pc. And as far as I know, I don't have problems with the temperature. Maybe lowering the resolution a little (to 1080p) if you're gonna play for a long time? Cheers!

@@PantoniStrikesBack Ah yes desktops don’t have any temp problems at all. And yeah that’s unfortunately the only solution to it.
