I love how Meredith falls into the water and the girl just turns and walks away like "welp." I know it's mostly on me but man, they should've maybe considered making this scene less accidentally humorous.

It should’ve been the kid in the water just for that “welp” 🥱🥱😒

She chose not to fight to survive water. Water is a fear of mine, just the drowning aspect. But her pain was so deep, and she wasnt afraid of that death. Been there.

Me too.. feeling exactly like her. I am a good swimmer and I don't mind drowning

Combined with what she told ghost Denny, she gave into her pain and sadness for a moment which is when she went under. I took it that the moment didn't last and she did try to save herself but she was too late and couldn't accomplish it.

The length of time that Meredith was in the water with her lungs filled to the moment that she is found is unreal. It was too dramatic and unrealistic.

Who knew how long Meredith was down there thank god Derek went in there
@TheAlliegirl964 ай бұрын
I just read a breakdown of this and from what they could tell she was in the water for 40 minutes before Derek got her. Realistically she should’ve stayed dead there’s no coming back from that, I suppose that’s why they referred to it as a miracle in the show! I just watched this episode it’s so intense.

Because she doesn’t really try to stay up she keeps herself up for a couple seconds and then gives in to the cold

Humans float. She couldve just done a back float to keep herself up.

@@ameliarose47it’s cold man. It’s a serious shock to the body when you go from fairly warm with layers to being plunged into ice cold water. Realistically in winter if you fell into water you’d probably take a gasp of shock and water would enter your lungs. And I don’t know about you but i’m not a strong swimmer. I’d be strugto doggy paddle in cold.

She gave up. Meredith admited to having suicidal tendencys. Plus, if she hadnt given up, her body would have shortly after this because of the cold

Why does that girl just stand there? Why not go and look and see where Meredith went? It's just weird how the girl just stands there. At least she pointed her out to Derek when he asked her!? But yeah funny situation.

@@kateswayne1708 yeah, it was so overdramatic. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that.
