Just watched to the end of this after my previous comments as I hadn't spotted it was edited. a good performance. I had totally forgotten about the little animated sponge that cleans your visor in the pitstops. Montreal has always been one of my favourite F1 tracks- the turn 3-4-5 combo is thrilling.

I still come a-CROPPER on those kerbs and those chicanes though!

Nice race. I feel your pain! I'm really enjoying this series. I haven't played this game in thirty years. How do you get your steering wheel and pedals to work? Well done on using the sandwich analogy correctly. I believe your gear ratios might be compromised. Ideally, especially at the slowest hairpin, you should be using first gear (adjusted to suit) making the climb up through the gearbox a bit easier with an extra ratio to use. That's how I did it and the guys in reality did it. Generally speaking. It might give you a bit more accelerative oomph off the slow corners.

Thank you! The wheel and pedals just work with the "DOSBox Staging" software which is how I run everything. It's a tricky balance between acceleration and wheelspin, as I have turned off the Traction Control option in the Control options. So the car is quite squirrely under acceration.

“69 laps of these chicanes, can it be done?” I’m guessing that’s going to be “no”
