Pastor Vlad, God only knows if you'll ever see this, But I need to know, April 17th my father after 12 days of being in the cardiac ICU passed on. I prayed for him I believed God could heal him but he's no longer on this earth. I miss him so much! I'm a worship leader and when I sing about healing or miracles I feel like a hypocrite. How can I encourage people to believe God will do something for them that he didn't do for me? My father served the Lord 27 years faithfully, he led a simple life content in God😢 he was a true man of God humble and loving and sincere and strong and held to the Lord, led his family well, he encouraged us never to leave the Lord, Where did we go wrong? What did I miss? How can I sing and believe for people and others that God will do something for them he didn't do for me? When my Dad wasn't healed, I saw him buried. I still have trouble believing he's not here, I still think I can go visit his home and that I'll see him there. I still feel like he's going to pick up the phone if I call. I look at eternity now with a new perspective, what does this world matter, all I want is to go see my Dad again in Heaven. I'm a married man I have a son, so I don't think I want to leave so soon but now I won't mind when my time comes. I'm not sure how to believe anymore that God will heal me or anyone.

Hello. I just read this post. When we lose a loved one it hurts. There is a huge void in our life. With grief it does not go away but we learn to live without it. Eventually years of sadness turned to tears of joy. My mom has this book called Gone from Sight by Barbara Karnes. It gave her comfort when my Stepfather passed away. Sometimes God heals us on earth but other times he heals out bodies and soul by taking us to heaven. There is no more sickness or pain. Heaven is our reward. Your Dad got his reward. Another book that helped me is Heave is real. When you read or listen to people that have gone to heaven, not once has anyone said they didn't want to stay there. Your Dad is still with you, this time in a glorified body with no limitations. I pray God heals your heart. It takes time. You will get through this. Run to God not away from him. Ask questions, vent, give him your pain.Ask him to heal your heart and he will.❤
