Welcome to four seasons! I always have my autumn & winter wardrobe together and spring & summer wardrobe together. Highly rec those vacuum bags for seasonal clothing to organize them away ( i put them in my luggage). If you have the space; the ikea Skubb system is amazing n cheap as a couple of those will do perfectly. Highly rec those acrylic organizer/dividers for knitwear n purses to the upper shelf of your closet - it looks nice too! It’s very homedit kinda thing!

I've got ADHD and just wanted to say, having an aesthetic that makes me happy can be the single factor that a) keeps me engaged with a space and b) keeps me using and maintaining it as intended. I've got fidgets and visually stimulating objects on my home desk, which motivates me to tidy when it gets so cluttered I can't see them. So the aesthetic element, the visual that has been so important for you, makes sense in lots of ways, it's about the look but also can be so much more. :)

Def have my fall & winter together and spring & summer together. I found that having thin long sleeves and thin long sleeve body suits helps so much with fall & winter layering! & don't forget to protect your shoes with the proper shoe care per the material. & a sweater shaver is so helpful when it comes to keeping your sweaters looking fresh.

Yeah, we have 4 very different seasons here in Canada. I like proper rubber boots with good traction and with inserts for winter. Then no need to worry about the slush! I have a good sized collection of toques, mittens and scarves. Don’t forget about the thermals! Especially for my east coast weather where the bone chilling cold is very real.

I like to see beautiful things on display. And clothes and shoes are art! If that coat rack brings you joy, get one for yourself. But if it’s gonna give you some headache worrying about any space issues, let me tell you - that dresser top + hat situation is becoming a statement in its own right. You have a great sense of style and your aesthetic is 👌🏽 - so I’m down with either! Do what brings you joy, Rachel!

Also, you have such beautiful clothes because I love a lot of the colors thet you have too. I wish I could find a lot of the tops like you have because they are definitely my style. So, please don’t beat yourself up and just enjoy that all your clothes are put away and not laying on the floor. The picture above the chair instead of on the dresser. Put the brown bag somewhere else, it look to heavy there om the light see trough box, and move the hats to the other side of the dresser. Perhaps a little green plant underneath the hats.

I'm sorry but I don't think you should get the clothing rack... You could get a beautiful coat hanger like the Tjusig from IKEA (and do a little DIY video to make it gold). Its clean lines would display different clothes and accessories beautifully and it wouldn't take as much floor space in your bedroom. I would move that beautiful art piece you have over the dresser to over the chair and add a mirror over the dresser, perhaps in a black frame also.I think you should get the shoe storage from IKEA that matches the little drawers you have inside the wardrobe (Mackapär). It would tidy up your shoes and make space for the new drawers you bought. I think you did a wonderful job with your organising and we, the organisation junkies, appreciate that regardless of the Instagram-ready look. Don't be so hard on yourself 💗

I think that having the coat fitted would cost almost as much as the return fee. And, even if returns are free, the fitting of the coat wouldn’t be too expensive. Just remember not to make it too tight so that you can wear bulky clothes or a lot of layers underneath it.

It's called Layers girlfriend!! Lol! The transitional seasons of Fall & Spring call for being able to add & take away layers of clothing i.e. cardigans, pullovers around the waist or neck with a cute base layer in case it's a warmer day than anticipated so you can pull off the top layer & still have something cute on underneath. I'm sure you'll figure it out. As for your boots - I don't think it's that short of a time you'll have to wear them....if it's serious snow - carry a larger bag/tote so when you get to your destination you just put on your cute boots & put the snow boots in the tote! No reason to shorten the time wearing such a cute pair of booties!! Honestly, I'm in NY so I can't speak to a Canadian winter - but we just handle it that way or walk vewy, vewy carefully in our cute shoes in the wintertime!! Haha!
@rachelleea3 жыл бұрын
Yah I know about the layers and what not. I figured it all out last time I was here. The winter I was here there was snow and slush in the streets for most of Jan and Feb so it made it hard for certain shoes but I’m sure I’ll be able to wear them for longer. It’s just so so different to Australia. You don’t need as many items in Aus
