They should really give us an option to “lock” our chests.. like a toggle on them if we want to make a chest that has contents we don’t want auto used in cooking/crafting/etc.

You can only get duplicates if you dont fish all 5. Once you fish the final one, you cant get anymore. I accidentally used my squid so I wrote an email / incident report and got a reply, then I got a replacement squid in my in game email. ❤ I now have them on the floor in a room in my house.

I put mine on a table in sunlit plateau and then put a fence around the table in case I ever do multi player (so no one could pick them up).

Put your festive fish on display and they won't be used for cooking. I have mine sitting out on a table in an ocean themed room.

I hope they allow us to get them if we aren't new players. So many of us accidently consumed them and instead of saying sorry about that we'll let you get them next year they blocked us from replacing them. I do hope they have rethought that. We are allowed to get every other event as long time players except this one. Suggestion: put them on the floor or on a counter in a room in your house then block off the room so you or any visitors can't get in and accidently pick them up.

I did enter the contest it would be wonderful to win this year has been so incredibly hard and this game has been refreshing. I originally had the game in my Nintendo switch and got so far into it. But lost my apartment and had to sell my switch. I finally found a better apartment and have been here but lost my remote job 2 months in. So because of the free time I redownloaded the game but onto my ps4 and it pains me to think of all the progress I had made. I spent so much moonstones and had items from star paths that I know I won’t ever be able to get back :,( but I’m willing to put the work back in and your videos help me get back on track ❤

I kind of hope the chest with the snowman materials is a purple one that looks like the blue, green, yellow and red ones. I’d also love if they gave us a house skin shaped like the treasure chests, one where we could choose which color we wanted it to be of all the color treasure chests in the game.

I feel like they should just let you get as much festive fish as you want. The FOMO isn't nearly as bad if you know the return every year, then you can even eat them and stuff.
