I liked the Indy Intro. It was a bit of a tutorial and it also told me about where we were in the timeline. I'm about 10 hours in and loving it.

Interesting that Hoeg views relationships as transactional. I would've expected that from Travis. I am in Hoeg's camp on this one, but I'm also an accountant so I kind of see everything as a transaction.

Personally, I think it’s a pessimistic view though I get the concept.

Diablo is the big budget blockbuster movie that's corporate and soulless(modern Marvel and Starwars), Path of Exile is the Indie darling that manages to make a better movie with a much smaller budget, Diablo is highly polished for mass appeal but lacks any real depth, while PoE manages too be so deep that you can dump thousands of hours into it and still find new stuff, the fact that PoE is doing this for free while Diablo charges for every aspect of the game Box price, Expansions, BP and still has overpriced skins makes POE the obvious winner.

Haha interesting analogy. I love both but we did our best to express that they are very different games.
