Seasoning A Wood Cook Stove

Seasoning the cast iron top of the wood cook stove made sense to us because we are going to use cast iron cookware. This may not be the proper method, so do your own research, but we are happy with the result.

vinegar works great for cleaning rust

Brake cleaner will make short work of your rust problems. Edit..... Apply when no fire is anywhere near.
