What are the Height Restrictions for Seastorm at Chessington?
Guests must be a minimum of 0.9m to ride Seastorm and be a minimum of 1.1m to ride unaccompanied.
Shipwreck Coasts at Chessington World of Adventures
Guests can now explore the stormy shores of Shipwreck Coast at Chessington World of Adventures. There are two brand new rides in Shipwreck Coast.
Barrel Bail Out
Guests will need to help the harbour master in Barrel Bail Out!, as they jump into barrels trapped in a whirlpool and help empty them of water, it will definitely be hard to stay dry in this new one.
Trawler Trouble
Further up the Shipwreck Coast, the captain of a trapped fishing boat needs help getting it freed in Trawler Trouble. Ride the choppy waves and take in some spins in an attempt to break free. Guests will also notice that Shipwreck Coast also contains the family favourite, Seastorm, which has reopened following a full refurbishment, and the notorious ship Blue Barnacle can also be found in Shipwreck Coast. Blue Barnacle opened in April 2021 replacing the Black Buccaneer.
The land takes inspiration from coastal harbour towns with nautical theming such as lighthouses, boats, sails, fishing nets and anchors taking prominence around the development. But it’s not just new rides and theming landing in Shipwreck Coast, Bagot goats will be making their home in the grassy hills around Blue Barnacle and Black rats will be found exploring a brand-new enclosure around the entrance to Trawler Trouble.
That’s not all, the Mayor of Shipwreck Coast’s prized fish has gone missing and is calling upon guests to help crack the case and catch the “fishnapper”. Join the pursuit for the truth and meet the quirky residents who inhabit the town along the way to help identify the culprit. Something smells fishy here, collect an evidence card and search Shipwreck Coast for clues. Report to the Harbour Master and submit your evidence, a prize awaits all those who help return the prized fish!
Chessington World of Adventures Resort is a theme park, zoo and hotel complex in Chessington, Greater London, England. Chessington opened as Chessington Zoo in 1931, with the theme park being developed alongside the zoo by The Tussauds Group and opening on 7 July 1987, as one of the first themed amusement parks in Britain.

This looks like a fun ride is it mainly for kids? Will it be a tight fit for a adult?

There is quite a bit of room in the boat, the lapbars are quite loose fitting so fits adults quite easily and quite a bit of leg room as well
