Seat Altea Climatronic hidden diagnostic menu

Climatronic unit in Seat Altea have hidden menu that will help you diagnose your HVAC system by checking live data from sensors around the car without a diagnostic interface. This can be useful when you want find and fix a problem with misbehaving thermistor, vent flap, sun sensor. You can also check vehicle speed, engine RPM, engine temperature and other useful parameters.

Dear Mr-fix Is there a chance that we are able to retrive any erro codes ? I am confronting following issue , independenly if I try to activate cooling or heating , the air fans are not energized neitehr the compressor or any other component of the Heating/cooling system. The display though seems to work as it should.Any clues??? (Seat Altea 2006 ) Thank you in advance

Mam problem z klimatyzacja, dzis nabiłem do pełna ale nie wieje zimnem, gościu ogolnie mówił, ze jest duze ciśnienie, pomożesz mi to zresetować za pomocą tego wideo?

Mam bardzo dziwny problem i nie wiem jak go zdiagnozować tym menu - otóż auto w losowych momentach po prostu załącza jakiś duży wentylator i obroty na luzie skaczą do 1100 obr. Ogólnie czuć nawet wewnątrz auta czuć ten pęd powietrza z komory silnika. Z pozycji 19.1 widać, że temperatura silnika jest pokazywana dobrze (rośnie tak jak na desce rozdzielczej) a tak jakby załączał się wentylator do chłodzenia. Nie wiem co sprawdzić. Możesz pomóć?

W niektórych auta, gdy włączy się nawiew na przednią szybę, to automatycznie włącza się też kompresor klimatyzacji (aby lepiej odparować szybę). A razem z kompresorem zaczyna chodzić wiatrak.

​@@mrfixpl Hej, dzięki za odpowiedź ale zapomniałem wspomnieć, że to też przestawiłem - tzn po odpaleniu nie włączam nawiewu na szybę, nawiew ogólny jest na economy mode (bez klimy). Co najśmieszniejsze jeśli zgaszę go po jakiejś minucie, dwóch i odpalę ponownie to szansa, że wentylator się załączy jest dosyć niska ale za pierwszy razem uruchamia no zawsze po jakichś 5-15 sekundach od odpalenia i dopóki nie zgaszę samochodu to będzie kręcił. Mam dokładnie tą wersję co na filmie.

Wiem ze dosc pozno ale mialem ten sam problem. Zmienilem termostat alternator. No i mechanik znalazl. Punkty masowe na karoserii przeczyscil nie wszystkie bo jest ich duzo ale te najwazniejsze i pomoglo w tej chwili 3 lata i nic sie nie dzieje

mam podobny problem w altea 1.6 (benzyna) byłem na "korekcie programu" (50 zł mnie takie coś kosztowało) chwile podziałało i po tygodniu znów to samo - facet od napraw klimy powiedział że jeśli powróciło to duża szansa że padnięta sprężarka. Dlatego Trzeba iść i sprawdzić - ja już nie inwestuje, robię przeciąg ;)

Just setting the desired temperature to something higher than ambient temperature should be enough. Assuming that the system is OK, and for example the heater core is not clogged with something, or air vent flaps are not stuck/broken.
