How therapeutic - awesome work. Not that it would matter to you, but although the seat resting inside the tank cutout is a very nice touch, have you considered sliding the seat back for a more free-float effect - So the entire seat is visible? How I wish I had access to that machine shop. That there's a $700+ custom saddle - ee z. :)

For a second I thought you were grinding without goggles... I was like, Oh man, he hasn't dug enough pieces of metal our of his eyes yet... I have had steel sparks get into my eyes in the most incredible of ways.. Bounce off my cheek, off the lens of the goggles and into my eye where it hits the optic fluid and instantly cools from a liquid state to a solid and welds itself to your eye. Nothing like a rust ring in your eye the following morning - at least it helps you find it to jam a q-tip in there a 'scrape' it out. Lord knows I DO NOT miss that BS!! Anyway - Nice work brother.

Fellow Craftsman, first I would like to say you have a very interesting video! Your methods are very creative and I love the way you got your "stone pattern" and logo. But I must ask, it seems you put a lot of faith in spray adhesive. After watching 2 of your videos I am certain these are not your first seats so, I must ask how tried and tested is the spray adhesive for longevity? I spend over $25 per quart for Barge cement because I am worried about the adhesive breaking down and letting go. What is the oldest seat you have made to be certain the glue doesn't breakdown after many miles of hard riding? Great video and great shop!
@fokinlordsamaels5 жыл бұрын
In fact i made just 3 seats in my life and dont really understand what you mean as adhesive breaking? Seat covers are secured by rivets or sewn as on this video, so what could go wrong?)
@frankyantosca49905 жыл бұрын
@@fokinlordsamaels I mean the various layers separating which would cause the foam to bunch or shift. Of course, the stitching and rivets will hold it all together. I was just wondering if you ever experienced any of the internal layers separating? I just worry about all that gorgeous carving and dying you have done. Maybe I'm overly paranoid. It wouldn't be the first time. Very pretty work.
