getting into the same gig myself bought a 2014 1ls convertible for 16000....replaced the rear view mirror with a 2012 used chevy cavalier model and fits perfectly...replaced outside rear view mirrors from cardio ….replaced cloth door panels with illuminating ones from a ZL1....fit perfectly....now ordered leather seats on EBAY front and rear....upgrade cost 1900 dollars total....new spoiler ,tires ,and sportier hood another 1600....upgrades are fun if you do it yourself.

We did my sons in less than an hour including rear. Only thing that gets me is I bought the red stiched zl1 seats for mine and was putting my ss seats in his car until the wife butted in. So he has beautiful zl1 seats in his car. Sohe won that one.

Hello, I’m new to the Camaro’s, I just got mine last week and i have a dumb question 😅 today i was getting outside the car and i leaned with my right arm on the floor instead of holding the steering wheel or putting my hands on the seat will that ruin anything in the floor carpet ? 😂

hey Matt, just curious - you mentioned in the video, that you want to change the ZL1 seat badges. Do you have any video from that? I know you sold your SS seats already - so obviously you switched to something else. I am curious, because I want to switch to something personal (remove 'SS' badges) but want to keep the SS seats. So I'd like to see how you switched those and maybe what is your shop for custom badges.

I have a 2019 ZL1. The passenger side side will got flip forward. Don’t want to bring it to dealer of fear of them doing more harm than good. Can you advise if I can resolve this without removing the seat? Cable is connected on top flap as far as I can see.

To free the belt you can remove the plastic cover of that thing that looks out of that hole. There under is one screw you have to unsrew. Ready ;-)

Did you use thread lock on the T 15 floor bolts? I pulled my seats out once for an in-depth detail and remember reading somewhere that using red loctite is “highly recommended”.

If you upgrade to the ZL1 seats on a 1le. Would you get heated seats? since the 1le doesn't come with that option.

+Mezz Mezz the seat would support it, but you would lack the wiring and controls to turn it on

The adjustments would work. In your case you could get the 1LE seats. If you wanted to get crafty, you could make your own button panels and add the heat and cooling :)

Hello. I am subbing. I have a 2019 RS Camaro. I don't care for those seats. Are the seats you installed better some how over the stock seats. I was hoping they moved like Corvette seats with the adjusters. But they don't. Does your new seats reclin back farther then the stock seats?

Really wish that chevy would do some of the upgrades to the interior on the Silverados like they have in the Camaros. The led lighting is a very nice factory touch. As well as the alcantara on door panels steering wheel, and dash panels. I know you added yours. Although it would be nice as a factory option on the silverados

I have a 2014 camaro 1LE with alcantara on the recaro seats, steering wheel, shift knob and it is very nice. I also have a 16 silverado LT so basic interior and I am more than pleased with this interior of the silverado, I'm not sure alcantara is such a good option for truck owners as they tend to be used more and would get matted/dirty very easily. I like the hard surfaces as they are much easier for cleaning. The LED lighting in the silverado is awesome and I like how simple chevy is keeping it.

I fully understand where you are coming from. Some ppl use there pickups in different environments and what not. I am just saying that I wish it were an factory option. So that the ppl that do want it could get it. I really like the leather in my 14 Silverado. Just wish the door panels had alcantara. As well as the arm rest and steering wheel. For me, that would fit my needs. I don't let my pickup get to dirty. As a $50-60,000 pickup is not something I want to let get ruined by my own ignorance.

I did because of me not connecting the passenger side buckle up. But once that was connected the light went away. Always work with your negative terminal disconnected and you shouldn't have issues.

My cat decided it was ok to pee in passenger seat. My fault I should have left her in the carrier but she screams bloody murder whenever she has to stay in her carrier and taking her out she is ok to ride and loves being free. Anyway I have gotten my ss detailed still smell the odor tried doing odor bomb still smell the odor. So since the seats are heated aND air conditioned I may need to replace the seats overall. So knowing that I can replace the seats is good to know. Thank you.
