I'm getting one soon! It's on order and I can't wait! Test drove the Dynamic SE and that was very solid and quiet. Not on the motorway I didn't test it, but you're gonna get Road noise in any car except the more expensive Audi's BMW's etc... Obviously. This is still a very nice car and remember this had 18inch alloys. Mine will have the standard 17 inch which I'm more than happy with. Still looks amazing 👌👌👍. Just want it now!

@@dee1381 hi, yeah got it just before New Years Eve. Love it but wish I'd gone for an automatic now. But still drives really well, gear changes on the manual still feel solid and fuel economy driven reasonably well is up to 50mpg! ✌ I've gone for the 130bhp 1.5 petrol. All round good car and I'm not disappointed.

Beautiful car, i was gona buy either seat leon or vw golf before the pandemic, but there wasn't any vw golf in the country and i decided to buy either opel astra or seat leon, than pandemic hit and the last 5 month im getting almost no payment from my company, supposedly one of the biggest companies in aviation. Anyways now with the pandemic it looks like it won't be possible to buy this beautiful car, this makes me sad. Btw in the video it sounds like there is more wind and road noise when compared the last gen.

It depends what are you looking for. All this cars have there pros and cons. But I would consider Honda and Mazda.

@@JRCarReviews So what is the car of the class that is definitely the best insulated of them? I see you don't like the octavia. Double door seals don't mean shit in my opinion. They are there for the look and there are there a lot of times to try to conceal not a great fit. If you now a detail or two about insulation you try to filtrate frequencies by alternating different materials. Just watch the doors when VW went from golf V (double seals) to golf VI (same chassis, doors went to the old, passat like one seal, metal, indoor seal) and the numbers were better on the VI. Also bear in mind that if the seals don't fit EXACTLY they can allow for noise to come through and that was the case for the previous, f-30 or what that BMW was called (3 series). So, to be honest, many cars have them, but you need to decide for yourself...people are sensitive in different frequencies, and then there are tyres with different noise, there is A weighting, there is energy in the lower frequencies that makes you feel sick (!) if amplified, there is that 2-4 khz pitch that will bust your nerves in longer journeys. Thank god for sound systems. Those fuckers should do the honda civic trick to amplify external sounds and emit them on 180o phase to cancel them in the cabin, but, the kia ceed has no such tricks and is quieter than a civic. If you get it better from the start, the less trikcs needed.

What's the main difference between the FR version and the Xcellence Lux?

First theres two FR versions. FR Sport and normal FR. The FR Sport has microsuede chairs 18inch alloys and winter pack. FR is just a level below, not kitted out as much as the FR Sport. The Xcellence is more premium, leather seats alot of chrome detailing plus many more extras not on the FR or FR sport. Engine wise not any much difference between all three. Got the FR Sport personally and so far I love it. Big step up from a MK 2 leon for me, maybe that why I love it. The MK2 sound system however was much more better than in the current Leon 😁😁
