@@Esandeech2 resting sometimes equals applying pressure, that moves the gear stick even slightly, creating small disconections of the actual gear from the disk, wearing it down. Same goes with hovering your feet and lightly touch clutch, it wears the disk. The golden rule is, gear shift and clutch should be contacted only when you want to change gear.

i had an 2020 Focus active wagon with the 1,5 ecoboost 150p and 8 speed automatic for holiday journey. I was very impressed by the power and fuel consumption from the engine and the transmission, and the space that you have. What i really didn't liked was the interior, because it all felt very cheap and ugly, even compared to my daily car, a 2012 Focus ST

I have same car but I hear a sound like a rattling either from gearbox or clutch. It happens only between first to second and second to third. Sometimes when start from first shift and stop right away, like a slow start. I tried to hear it in this video but I couldn’t. The question is do you hear something like this ? Or if anyone else have same “problem” please share with me. I’m curious if it’s normal or I should look for a service. Thanks guys have an awesome day.

1.5 vw engine pushing 150 hp, vw fit this engine in many vehicles, skodas, seats, and vw models, smooth, quite nippy in lightweight vehicles, but under powered in my tiguan!! Seat vehicles better equipped as standard, over vw models.
