SEAT LEON MK3 - How To Remove Front Window Regulator & Motor Removal Replacement 2013-2019

Guide on how to remove the front window regulator and electric motor assembly, on a Seat Leon Mk3 (5F), models 2013-2019.
Models years: 2013 / 2014 / 2015 / 2016 / 2017 / 2018 / 2019
The interior door card panel needs to be removed first, to gain access to the parts inside the door. The speaker and window glass must also be removed.

Massive help...Gona replace my whole door and just need to swap over the glass remote control box and key cylinder. hopefully not too difficult

Awesome, Driver window just packed in, the wires around the regulator have snapped and twisted themselves around it, new part ordered Looks straight forward to replace 🤞

Great video. Have you ever removed the Leon mk3 centre console and gear shift boot (on the dsg transmission) to access the gear shift position switch? I may well need to do this to fix the “workshop, only leave vehicle in position p” warning issue.

Very useful video, thank you! I have a question. My right back window does not pull down. I can hear the engine working, but the window doesn't want to go down. After that i can push down the glass manually with my hand. upwards works flawlessly. What could be the problem? Thanks!

It sounds like the window regulator could be faulty, or possibly the bracket that holds the glass has broken.

I guess that if the issue is the motor, you just need to remove the panel and change the mootor as it is exposed right? Would be a much easier job, am i right?

Yes, no need to remove the regulator etc if it's just the motor that's needs replacing.
