What a nice little film, looks like a lovely place to visit. I was very interested to see those points sprung with a bias to set routes in either direction. Its rather unnerving to run into set of points set against you! I wonder what kind of pressure they are under? The trams from around the country theme was good to see to. I have a few old BEC kits built by my grandad of various trams. Mostly London types but there's a couple of Glasgow trams as well.

Thanks very much indeed, ah the sprung points, some are actually weighted, you can see the weight and arm move at Colyford. The pressures are not too bad as all that's needed is enough force to lift the weight and throw the blades.

Racal Electronics had a factory in Seaton back in the 1990s and I visited it several times. Seaton is a lovely place. I often visited on a Friday and spent the weekend there. I don't recall ever seeing the trams running during my visits. Apparently the factory was demolished in 2020 and replaced by some luxury apartments etc, so I guess there was nothing left of the place when you visited.
