[Seattle] Fire Chiefs / Officers Responding Lights & Siren! (Compilation)

Captured here are various fire chiefs and officers of the Seattle Fire Department (SFD) responding to different emergency calls in the city with their Chevrolet response cars! First up we see Staff 10 (this unit is driven by a regular firefighter) responding from fire station 10 for a rescue. The clip was filmed from the second floor balcony of the station, while a firefighter kindly narrated the response. The Safety Chief, Operations Deputy and Battalion 2 soon follow. The next clips show Engine 10, Staff 10 and the Safety Chief responding to a structure fire in station 2's area. The other clips show Battalion 5, Battalion 2 and Battalion 4 responding to desperate calls. THANK YOU to the firefighters of Seattle for your service and for welcoming me at your stations!

Seattle really likes their fire officers haha. I noticed how in addition to the Battalions you have a Deputy Chief, Staff and Safety for all and any reported structure fires or other incidents of notice (tech rescues, hazmat..etc.) regardless of whether confirmed or not. Most FDs typically only have one or two Battalions on the reported incident; then they might upgrade at the Incident Commander's discretion.

lucaslaughing Thank you very much! Station 10 is awesome, not only for its size or the skyline in the background, but also for the number of units you can catch coming by. The area right in front of the station is ok I think. Stay away from the City Hall Park/ Pioneer Square area if you can.

​ @TGG - Global Emergency Responses It's a real shame that area is sketchy. An area with such history, architecture and monuments. A lot of Downtown areas seem to suffer from these problems.

@@CobraEmergencyNorthAmerica I would not worry too much about it if you are only focusing on the fire station and stick to staying around it. Even though the surrounding areas are problematic you would usually not get into trouble if you use common sense and stay out of people’s way. Go with a friend if you can. That being said, the sheer volume of drug use, mental illness, and homelessness seen in many North American cities can often be shocking to foreign visitors.
