I agree. More interested in seeing how Mac and Grubb have game planned, and how they adjust throughout the game, despite missing a lot of pieces. Will be a good test of our team's depth, and how they're able to step up, in the event key starters go down again (knock on wood) later. Even if we lose, but we're able to play solid and keep things tight, there'll still be plenty to be excited and optimistic for, through this season and in the future.

Watch for Mike Morris - former Michigan player who's finally playing a full season without injury. He'll be getting more snaps with Leonard Williams sitting out too. They can line him up anywhere on the line, and I've even seen him cover flat routes out to the sidelines as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed he has a great game today.

I would say those early games gave our team a chance to develop in real competition to a new offensive and defensive schemes. It was like an extended preseason for our starters. Go Hawks

They've won the games they were expected to - maybe not in the fashion that pundits predicted, but they still handled their business for the first 3 weeks. Under a new HC and offensive scheme within a stacked division, starting 3-0 feels great. We need a real litmus test to see how this particular roster fares against top contenders before aspirations about the playoffs emerge. A year out from winning the Super Bowl, the Broncos went 4-0 to start the 2016 season and ultimately missed the playoffs. Conversely, the Chiefs started their 2015 season 1-5 and they made it to the playoffs. What's more important is the ways in which the team picks up and moves on regardless of the win / loss columns. This is the testing ground for Mike MacDonald as a head coach, going up against one of the most likeable and respected coaches currently in the league. This is where we can see what works against a sturdy defense, and what stymies a balanced offense. Seattle has plenty of talented players and depth to pull off a surprise win, they just need to keep Geno upright.

We’ve started off 6-0 recently and we see how that season ended. I’d rather us lose earlier in the season and learn than later.
