Geno had time to take us to the playoffs and still makes rookie mistakes. He cost us 3 to 4 games that would of put us in the playoffs. His redzone ints 2 yrs straight is an issue. Can't blame the oline..it's been bad for years. This draft has nothing to offer at the top for QBs. Cap space also an issue. Geno is not worth 44 mil. Start QB Hall, wr / qb Plumlee. Draft a qb late rounds. Next draft there will be better QBs. Give our young QBs a shot now....don't know what you got until you use them. Hall wasn't bad with the vikings in oreseason..he just had darnold, and McCarthy a #1 pick for the vikes ahead of him. They waived him before the season started. He has potential. But we won't know if we keep riding Geno and his mediocre QB play. His passing yds, anyone could of done with grubbs pass happy offense or close to it. Geno has played / started under 2 dif coordinators. 2022 best yr and still couldn't get us anywhere. Time to move on from Geno

He is a right now QB, and if they get the O-line to be just consistently mid, and improve our pass rush, we can easily be an 11 win team. Also, there are QBs that are lower on some depth charts that have potential who can sit behind Geno. Hendon Hooker has had almost no playing time, and Detroit still has Teddy Bridgewater at the 2 spot on the depth chart-so he’s not expensive or hard to acquire. Is Hooker the future? not sure, but he has a ton of potential, he’s not a kid, and he’s had a training camp in a good offense. There’s no one in the draft worth taking seriously in my opinion. After the top two I just see a bunch of Sam Howell types. The 2026 and 2027 drafts are going to have to the depth for a possible franchise QB.

Genos gots to go

I think we need to keep Geno until we find a good developmental quarterback. That process needs to start with a mid round selection this year. Then potentially another next year if that doesn't show promise. Sam Howell is a decent quarterback, but I'm not convinced he's the answer. Bring in another player to compete with him for the backup role. I think Will Howard or Jaxson Dart both look like solid prospects who should be avaialble round 3 or 4. I really want to add as much as possible to help this upcoming season though, so ideally they don't have to pick a quarterback until round 4, allowing potentially 3 immediate impact players in the first 3 rounds. I would like to go offensive line round 1. Potentially Banks (if he drops), Booker, or Membou 2. I would like an edge rusher. Josaiah Stewart should be there at pick #50. This allows Seattle to release Nwosu or Dremont Jones and free up several millions in cap. Plus, Seattle would not be stuck in a bind when Mafe's contract comes up. 3. I think Seattle needs to spend a pick here on wide receiver to replace Lockett who is most likely a cap casualty. Tez Johnson is my favorite possiblitity here. Not only is he local, but I think he gives us a lot of the same traits as we would lose if Lockett is gone. Jalen Royals is another possibility. Both are fast and run 4.3 40's. Johnson seems just a little better in route running. Though Royals is a bit taller and might be a better redzone threat due to the additional height.

Unless they get a diff QB they need to get him to a place where he can maximize his abilities. The chargers would get more production out of him than us I bet

Look what happened the last game of the season when we had a decent o-line he threw 4 touchdowns 223 yards and no picks. I say we keep lucas and cross than build around them and Geno. And maybe draft jaxson dart to sit and learn behind Geno.
