It makes me think of my first time seeing an NFL football field in person (1992 AFC Championship, Bills v. Broncos). Seeing those lines on the field, with the painted endzones, the logo in the middle of the field. When you first walk in to the stadium and see that it's like a fever dream. Seeing it in person is so much different than watching on TV.

We have the German Football League (GFL) but obviously it's nowhere near as good as the NFL since Germany is and always has been a country focused on soccer. So many Germans who are not into soccer rather watch the NFL which is on public tv every sunday evening here. Sadly I didn't get a ticket for Munich this time. Hopefully next time ❤

Very glad that i was able to get tickets and to see my Hawks with my friends live. I watched multiple games at the Allianz Arena, but the atmosphere was very unique. Many fans of different fanbases celebrating together was awesome. Would say Germany is ready for the NFL and Amercian Football. GO HAWKS 💚💙

I have to disappoint you, that was certainly not the classic FC Bayern audience. They will have been football fans from all over Germany and neighbouring countries. Although FC Bayern is one of the most successful clubs in Europe (32 German championship titles and 6 Champions League trophies), the audience in the Allianz Arena is considered lame, in terms of atmosphere, they are not even in the top 10 in the Bundesliga (top division in soccer). An atmosphere like that at the NFL game is rather rare there.

FYI at 11:48 the fans start chanting "Oh, wie ist das schön" which they use to sing in soccer, when their home team wins (by a large margin). It roughly translates into this: "Oh how beautiful [maybe "nice" would be a more accurate translation in English, but "schön" literally means "beautiful"], oh how beautiful, you didn't see something like that for a long time, oh how beautiful" This was such a cool move. The players wouldn't understand it, but this just shows how much football is now accepted as a part of our sports culture.
