i live in the dry part of washinton (tri,wallawalla,yakima,hemiston area) and i hardly go to seattle but the weater in my area is bad for my asthma and allergies so when i do go up(4hrs away) its always raining and it makes me feel so at home. the big buildings,bookstore hippies, steep roads, pikes place, the air, the calmness, its all so surreal. like a fever dream..so thank you

Thank you very much for this one! Lived in Seattle for a while, moved away and I miss it and its weather. It hardly ever rains where I live now and our city lights are nowhere near as pretty. This reminds me of some of the nightly downpours I had almost forgotten ~ I look at the screen, then I close my eyes, listen and I am at home again.

I grew up in Federal Way(a suburb of Seattle). The most calming sound in the world to me will always be the sounds of rain hitting the rooftop, moving through the gutters, and down spouts and the way it gently tapped on my window. This helps me to feel like I'm safe and cozy, back in my childhood bed💗

This is the only Seattle rainstorm that helps me sleep. The most authentic sounding one for this Washingtonian, who moved to Maine. Thank you. Hoping for more. This kinda looks like it was in Belltown or Ballard. Either way, it is perfect. Heavy and loud.
