We took on the Elliott Bay Trail this week, also wanted to check out the new project - Overlook Walk. We street-parked at downtown Seattle on Sunday, so we could visit Overlook Walk first, although the other end of the trail closing to Port of Seattle facility having easy street parking, like 20th and 21st Aves. Along the way to Overlook, we encountered Norwegian cruise disembarkation, quite busy on the street. Anyway, Overlook Walk is very nice with great view of Elliott Bay. And it is connected to Pike Place, so we visited Pike Place, plus Gum Wall. The trail itself is very nice, paved urban trail, multi-purposes, of courses. It bypasses Olympic Sculpture Park, goes through Grain Terminal, circles Port of Seattle property, and eventually ends at Elliott Bay Marina, which offers nice fall colors.
