When you compare this to your old stuff, you really see how much you've progressed! In your playing, the quality, and the professionalism. :) Spot on dude! 👍

Hey Seb, great cover! Would you mind if I asked what ride you're using in this vid?

Good cover, man. Never heard this before, that vocalist kind of reminds me of The Mars Volta.

Seb, are you from Canterbury?
@SebGee10 жыл бұрын
Nope :) Peterborough. If you meant the band Canterbury, nah I play for a band called Anavae.
@nama.stephh10 жыл бұрын
Seb Gee No no, i know the name of your band :) I'm from italy, but the previous week i've been in England and during a sightseeing of canterbury i've seen a man with the Anavae's shirt. I follow you on you tube from the beginning, ahahah when you played in too deep and i was so excited when i've seen that man with that shirt. It was just to know man ;)
Just by ear :) I only cover songs that I'm familiar with, I don't really learn songs especially for covers :) hope that makes sense.

thank you , its just im a beginner so I just needed a couple of tips. thank you
@haydenhindmarsh466310 жыл бұрын
CorruptedColours if u ever get familiar with your drums well enough to force your self to play uncomfortable. then you can try out drum tabs. theyre similar to guitar tabs. theyre basically the exact way the drummer of the song plays it. its really hard to do due to the fact every drummer plays different and feels rhythm different. but if you want to sound the way it actually sounds then i suggest trying out tabs haha. because u never know, playing by ear you might miss a quiet beat.

awesome cover!! question: what mics did you use??
@SebGee10 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I used probably the cheapest mics money can buy. Superlux PRA drum mics. They were £65 for the whole set. I'm running them through a yamaha MG166 mixer.

Could you do a Bring Me Down drum demonstration? Would be quite useful when playing along to it :P Also perhaps a lesson on stick tricks? :D
