Great review. I have this watch also the 12 hour chrono is a nice function. I have too many watches to give a number, one thing this watch has over the rest of my collection is the accuracy of the date window, it’s spot on. Well done Casio.

Finally a comprehensive review of the watch. I was going to get one just to get a cheap slide ruler on my wrist, but the outer bezel seems way too wobbly when you turn the screw at 8 o'clock, so I'll probably pass on this one.

Thank you for measurements! Amazon and Casio list the case diameter as 45.5mm. You've demonstrated 43.5mm which is more my size.

Thanks for this great detailed review! One quick question: around 1:22, it looks like you still have the chronograph running, but the 1/10s dial (the one at 6:00) stops running while seconds hand is still running. Does this mean that you can only expect 1/10s measurement up to 30s only, and then you're sticked to a 1s accuracy?

No, it stops to save the movement. When you stop the chrono it will immediately adjust. 😀

It would be real cool if you showed us how to do the calculations 3 × 4 And how did you do the 3 times he pointed to 3 and you pointed at the number 40 And just above that was the number 12 ? Mam ten zegarek już prawie 5 lat. Trochę rysek złapał, ale generalnie jestem bardzo zadowolony. Nie jestem w stanie do dziś znaleźć nic lepszego, nawet podnosząc pułap do 2000zł. Ewentualnie seria zegarków radiowych od Citizen jest ciekawa. Sprawdzałem też mechaniczne i podobał mi się np. Orient Open Heart automatic albo Orient Star z tego samego typu. Jednak problem jest taki, że o takie zegarki trzeba dbać i pamiętać o nich, nie można nimi o nic uderzyć, bo to oznacza drogie naprawy. Najlepiej mieć też rotor, który kosztuje kilka stówek, bo taki zegarki nie lubią leżeć bezczynnie przez dłuższy czas. Innymi słowy mechaniki są dla pasjonatów, ale nie są aż tak użytkowe. To trochę jak samochody typu old-timer do pojeżdżenia na weekend. Świetna zajawka, ale u mnie wygrywa praktyczność, czyli mechanizmy kwarcowe.

I like the watch, excellent review with all the important stuff, thank you. The only thing I don't like on the watch...the logarithmic dial seems flimsy when operated using the knob :( The logarithmic crown would be better solution I guess :(

The slide rule bezel appears badly made based upon how much it shakes when you try to adjust it. It looks odd on a casio. Since casio is known for accuracy (in my mind) and a circular slide rule is mostly an estimation device. Looks cute though and the wearer can convert temperature from celsius to Fahrenheit instantly.

It's not a popular model, few people use slide rules in India. Earlier students would learn logarithms and use logarithm tables in exams. Now logarithms are no longer taught in school. Either way nobody ever learnt slide rules in school.
