Wow, Sebastian is blowing this tune up in terms of range. (Love him or not) But he's certainly outdoing most of the other Broadway contributers here on KZbin. Near the end of the song he hits a few B-flats and throws in an ad libbed B-natural for variety. As if that weren't enough, he ends the song on a G4 sustained. (Most singers perform the written original E4, a third lower) One wonders if this is the manner in which he performed this song nightly while on Broadway. If so, bravo!

This is the other Bach personality... he's very versatile unlike other rockstars. He can shift into metal music and do opera altogether. He definitely has one of the best vocals I've ever heard in metal music. Baz rocks both worlds!

He won the award singing this song,as well as one for his acting. Frank Wildhorn hand picked him for the show & said he was the first to really bring it ALIVE. He was also asked to revive the play in 2004. His first run was in 2000

Random facts: Sebastian does the voice for Wildman in the Robot Chicken skit that features Wildman. He also does the voice for Triton in Spongebob: Clash of Triton.

Part of the reason he fit the part so well was he can sing a song like This is the moment clean,with passion as well he can truly bring out the Demonic side of Hyde with such song as Dangerous Game & Alive. When he sing The Confrontation he can flow back & forth with energy & excitement. When Jason Flom called Baz with the proposal of this role he asked him if he had the right phone number.
