In Stardew Valley, the gifts we can give to the villagers have a lot of value and meaning. Sebastian's list of loved gifts have me wondering... Is there a true calling for him...? I'd love to see a deep dive on Marnie. Maybe even a podcast on her. I feel she gets too much hate and pushed aside when she actually has a lot going on and is a good person.

Makes me want to see a mod were characters have scenes were they eventually find their callings, kind of goes well with the idea of wizard finally meeting his daughter & the idea I had of him making Abigail his apprentice since she's curious & he wants someone to pass down his knowledge before one day passing. I'm also kind of curious about Sebastian's home life, Demetrius despite I think having a book that tries to help with connecting with stepkids seems to favor Maru more & I don't recall him talking much if at all about Sebastian. Robin talks about him & shows up in one of his scenes so she cares about him. I don't recall much on what Maru thinks of him but Sebastian complains about her like she thinks she's better & as shown in this likely happy he doesn't live there. Sebastian feels misunderstood especially in a scene were Robin doesn't understand his computer job with him also kind of staying in his room to avoid people, you'd think Maru might understand his computer stuff since she works with inventing things & repairing equipment at the clinic but like I said what little I know makes it seem like she cares more about being better.

Sebastian has a line “Why does everyone like Maru so much? Sure, she's smart and friendly, but don't they realize it's all just an attention-grabbing scam? Sorry...” , he can say this with 0 hearts with us, but Maru never says anything negative about him. I think Maru wants to be closer with Sebastian but with all the attention she got from Demetrius, and Sebastian being kind of ignored, there's resentment that's just not getting resolved :/ Love your modding idea, I think that'd be so cool !!

@@sodorart Always seem to find mod ideas with your vids some how I guess I missed that, it's a shame that it can't be resolved, I guess another idea to add to the mod idea were people get things resolved like Sam's mom getting help & her sons learning to help out

There actually is a mod for Abigail becoming his apprentice. I’m still playing through it so I’m not sure if he or Abigail finds out they’re related at any point. It’s the Adventure Guild mod for Abigail (can’t remember the actual name of the mod), look for it on Nexus mods. It’s pretty cool. I downloaded it since I married Abigail in my play through and she kept talking about us going to the mines so I decided to find a mod where she can do that or at least join the Adventure Guild and I did. Theres a scene where she’s practicing how to make a potion or spell with the Wizard but if you want to know more you should download it.

@@aaxylzane1242 That's interesting The bit about the mines reminds me of a mod were if you have a high enough relationship with any of the marriage candidates you can ask them to be your companion(kind of like in Rune Factory) & have them follow you. They each have something they can do in the mines & use their (at the time of the mod being shown) unused weapons you can now buy off them at the desert festival when around monsters, they also become extra storage if your pockets are full.

At the Stardew Valley Fair in Year 2, Sebastian gets his fortune told by the fortune teller and is surprised by the result, and the Wizard even comments on it. It seems that something very interesting is going to happen in his future.

Kind of unrelated to Sebastian but me and my best friend are currently translating the entirety of Stardew Valley to Swedish, like u can play stardew in French, German and a lot more but not Swedish and since we’re Swedish we are translating it! It’s really interesting and we’re actually going to contact concerned ape to see if we can make it an actual thing

Seb, as my husband, has drug me out of the mines when I got my ass handed to me once or twice so we know he can get pretty far down and knows his way around.

It would be very cool to go spelunking in the mines with Sebastian or Abigail or your spouse. I know there are mods and stuff, but I wish there was more interaction like that with the villagers. It would be cool to go fishing with Kent, for example, or hire Shane (or again, maybe Kent?) to work on the farm after you boot Joja Mart out of town. That would make expanding one's operations to Ginger Island easier too. I find if I do too much on Ginger Island, things on the main farm start to get a little overwhelming, but a little help on the farm would be great. (I know I could hire Junimos, but that's too much like slave labor to my mind, and I just can't go there.) (btw, I too am possionately anti-Joja. Down with the Corporate Overlords!)

*SEBASTIAN VIDEO, YESSSSSS!!!! WOOOOO!!!!!* Also Sebastian being part of the advantures guild would be so awesome, wish spouses would do something cool at one point outside the farm. Sebastian joining the adventures guild, Sam becoming somewhat popular with his music at zuzu city or in town at least, Abigail becoming the wizard's apprentice , ect. Of course I wouldn't want Sebby to be hurt but I must admit Sebastian with an eye patch is so cool!

I'll be honest, when I first played the game and I saw that dialogue with the Wizard, I could have sworn it said "child" and not "daughter" so I thought maybe Sebastian was his son because it made a lot of sense considering his loved items and the fact we know nothing about his father. Plot twist, Sebastion is the Wizard's chuld, not Abigail or Jas. Jokes aside, Sebastion would actually make a great adventuering guild. Give him a dark sword of vampire energy and a pet bat from the fruit bat cave.

İ have a teory: Marlon is Sebastian's father. Hear me out, we know Sebastian is like 25-30. İf we go 30 tears before the Valley, we'll see Robin is just start to build her house. And Marlon in these days (way younger) going to the mines for adventurer missions. İf Robin doesn't Mert with Demetrius yet and working all day on her building i can imagine that Marlon is the only person she spend time with (when she was young) İ dunno just my opinion.
