As much as I totally understand why there wasn't a romance option - the game already has so much stuff to do and, admittingly, it might have felt a bit out of place - it still would have been cool if there was some kind of relationship-based function in the game, romantic or not. Maybe add in some optional side quests for each big side character (Sebastian, Ominis, Natty, Poppy, Amit, maybe Garreth) and add dialogue choices that actually affect your relationship with them. Maybe your relationship status with each character could in turn affect what dialogue options and choices the player gets with them later in the game, maybe even a slight change in the ending of their overall quest lines...looking at you, Sebastian...😤

Yeah I think that would be awesome. I would want romance options but since those probably aren't coming I think the next best thing would be more to do with relationships. Other than their main quests there isn't much to do with them.

I was okay with how the relationship was in this game. Starting as friends, I would love for them to develop games (or even hefty expansions) that feature growing up with our character the following years and maybe even becoming an auror or professor or whatever after and dive deeper into actual romance with the characters. Going to the yule ball, competing in the triwizard visiting other schools. There is potential to have other games and I really hope they explore it

I do find it strange that- for a side quest, Sebastian's story is kinda the only side quest that matters in the game. Like you can't complete the game without doing his quest. I genuinely wish there was some sort of morality system that affected your outcome in each sidequest, and ultimately your quest in the final fight.
