I use to watch all of telfair highlights before my summer league games back in 2006. I started point and watching his highlights gave me confidence before them games. A true legend.

At 2:52 when u got that type of speed, "The Shamgod" move is very lethal to have an your arsenal, almost unfair when u think about it. Takes an very disciplined defender to not get caught by that move. Next time brother just give this fast brother (Sebastian Telfair)alot of space.

Old comment but you’re right. It’s so tempting as a defender to think you can snatch the ball. But as soon as you try to do that it’s all over (assuming the ball handler has elite quickness).

Sebastian is a solid pro at this point, he played very well for the Suns this year and even won their team hustle award named after Dan Majerle. It's obvious he's put in a lot of work on his game. He's a much better shooter than he was, way improved D and he's making much better decisions as a playmaker. He just seems more comfortable and consistent.

@Bleekcastle11 жыл бұрын
True but like I said had he gone to college and got some experience his career might have been more than what it is. What people don't realize is that he was supposed to go to louisville and play for them but decided to go to the NBA at the last minute cause somebody got killed in the projects he grew up in right outside his mothers door. He wanted to hurry up and get his family out the hood. But at the end of the day I wish him well. He may not be a superstar but still a gifted point guard IMO.

Not really, LJ had games being highlighted on sportscenter. They said that because this is the feature on the Through The Fire DVD and highlights Bassy's accomplishments. Also, this is the rucker, New York's own not Cleveland's own. But u right from the point that Bassy is more famous as a street baller in NY.

Agreed, plus you only see the highlight reels, not the whole game. Dont get me wrong these guys i think have great talent as far a handle goes, but unfortunately that doesnt translate very well when you get into a much higher level of competition, where you actually have rules. Then again, the NBA lets too many guys get away with carrying and traveling so ya know :P

That phrase ever had any truth. Only New Yorkers believe that. New York basketball is more about flash than fundamentals. The only time kids from NY make it big is when they go play ball somewhere else like Oak Hill or a private school in Jersey. Neither high school or college basketball in city of NY is getting anyone anywhere of significance. Best player to come out of NY, high school and college, in recent memory is Ron Artest.
