About olive oil… I once saw a KZbin interview with a 97 year old man whose skin looked relatively young. The interviewer asked him how he keeps his skin looking so young? He said that after he showers , he runs olive oil on his skin … no chemicals, no nothing. The skin eventually absorbs the benefits of the olive oil !

It’s very interesting and reassuring to hear men talking over health issues and concerns about getting older. It’s not just women that worry about getting older. Good to see men openly talking and sharing these issues now instead of the way it was years ago were everything was kept quiet and men wouldn’t even go to the GP. Sends a good message out to other men 👏🏻Humour is the best way to deal with sensitive or awkward topics. My friends and I are constantly laughing at ourselves. It gets you through it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sebastian…it’s a firm NO to the sweatshirt with a strawberry! Suave and sophisticated is the way to go. The reflex thing: I didn't have it in one knee. It turns out I needed back surgery. My disc in my back was crushing my spinal cord. One visit to an orthopedic surgeon, and I was fixed! after 3 months of idiots telling me I should go to physical therapy

Sciatica is usually the result of a bulging disc on our sciatic nerves (both sides of the legs). C-cervical discs will give you nerve pain in your upper back & arms. L- Lumbar discs produce nerve pain in your lower extremities, mostly from the butt, down the leg, sometimes reaching to the foot..😒😖 Papain injections (in the spine, & into the actual disc that’s bulging) sometimes shrinks the disc so it can go back into the spine & off of the sciatic nerve. Most sciatic attacks usually resolve on their own, weeks, months. Surgery is sometimes needed (but not always successful) if conventional methods aren’t helping.😖

Guys, cologuard test for colon cancer, best thing ever… It’s not a bag, you shit in…it’s a hard plastic Tupperware type container… and you twist a small sample of your waste w/toothpick size thing that has grooves at the end of it to get a small sample and just throw that in a test tube. UPS it! The jokes at the UPS store are hilarious! They know exactly what’s in the container when you bring it back! Way better then the alternative! Great cast! The BEST bed is at the Cleveland Clinic! When I had open-heart surgery at the Cleveland Clinic ( I had a septal myectomy) I laid in the BEST bed in the world while I recovered in the Critical Care Cardiac ICU. In 2005 at the Cleveland Clinic, that hospital bed in the Critical Care Cardiac ICU was different than all other hospital beds. That bed had absolutely no pressure points at all. When I moved on that bed, it would (very quietly and gently) inflate so that no part of my body had a gap between it and the bed. For instance, when I moved my leg, that small area of the bed would quietly and slowly inflate in that spot and all of my leg would be supported by the bed. The bed did that no matter where or how I moved, it would gently and quietly inflate in those spots. It was the most amazing and most comfortable bed I've ever known in my life (Tempu-Pedic doesn't hold a candle). That hospital bed must have cost $10,000 but when you have open-heart surgery and you're cracked open like a walnut and all your ribs are broken and your sternum is cut with a bone saw, that bed helped a lot! (But then, with the rest of my recovery in the Step-down cardiac unit, I had a regular hospital bed.)

The reflex test on your hands, knees, ankles and elbows is to check your neurological system to see if your nerves are working together correctly or if there’s a blockage somewhere. If you don’t have a thyroid like me, then your reflexes are much slower. Your metabolism is slower. The thyroid gland talks to each organ in your body to regulate breathing, muscle response/repair, heart beat, hunger, thirst, temperature, etc. Due to my reflexes, being slow, l now have toget an EMG of both legs which is when electrodes see how the nerves are working Very painful.
