Only irresponsible pet owners don't get their pets spayed and neutered! First of all, your male dog will be less likely to roam away from home. An intact male will do just about anything to find a mate, including finding creative ways to escape from the house. Once he's free to roam, he risks injury in traffic and fights with other animals. Having your pet spayed or neutered will help decrease the number of animals in need of shelter. There are far too many animals out there without adequate loving homes to go to. Millions of cats and dogs end up in shelters every year. The majority of dogs euthanized every year are of the Pitbull breed. More than 359,000 dogs were euthanized in 2023. Meanwhile, 330,000 cats were also euthanized last year. Spaying your kitten when she is 3 to 6 months old will virtually eliminate the risk that she will develop mammary cancer when she's older. Additionally, spaying your kitten prevents many different infections and cancers that occur in the uterus and ovaries. Neutered dogs also don’t develop testicular cancer, which is common in older dogs who haven't been neutered. They also have a lower risk of pancreatic cancer, and their life expectancy is increased up to 18% longer. Animal Shelter Euthanasia Statistics: In animal shelters, 56% of dogs and 71% of cats admitted are euthanized. Every year, around 920,000 shelter animals get euthanized. Around 2.4 million animals euthanized in shelters were healthy and could’ve been saved and adopted. Out of all the animals that get euthanized in animal shelters every year, around 530,000 of them are cats and around 390,000 of them are dogs. Only 52% of U.S.A. animal shelters are no-kill shelters, but even no-kill shelters are not entirely no-kill; such shelters can still euthanize 10% of their population. So please stop contributing to the pet overpopulation and get your pet spayed and neutered!!

Dogs can have apples. For an occasional treat, cut out the core and fill it with peanut butter...give it to him in the yard unless you want to clean up a greasy mess. Green beans were my dog's favorite vegetable :)

As a Career Dog owner, using common sense over "book/breeder orders is of utmost importance and help. Puppies grow extremely fast and with that his body NEEDS more food and Frequently. Its basic common sense. A young dog like yours should be fed three times a day like a young person. They should not be starving every single time meal time comes. He'll gobble his food too fast which is not good for his digestive system. Feeding time will be stressful for h8m because hes So Hungry every time he gets fed. Common sense goes a long way with animals❤️🦮Much luck with your new pet.

If the dog is acting g hungry, it is. Some dogs just beg because they love the treats. But hunger is another thing. I stopped purchasing dog food because it’s basically junk. I made my dogs food with a brown rice/ ground Turkey/ chicken/beef/!tons of veg like carrots, zucchini, beans, peas. Fruited like apple & blueberries. Chop Chop it up and then I froze it. My dog was 18 when he passed & had excellent health. Treats like apple pieces and watermelon are great. But definitely adhere to the poison list for your dog. Like no avocado, no chocolate, no raisins, no grapes. It’s definitely work, but it’s so worth it. They give us so much. ❤

A decade later Sebastian is an arena act making tens of millions a year while Pete is still primarily a club act. Pete is the one who benefits from their association.

I think of my legs, ankles, arms, etc. and continue to walk/bike for a few hours a day just to keep my muscles, tendons, and ligaments in shape or at least ready for action...just in case. Even stairs, I descend more carefully now. I totally understand about basketball being risky at a certain age, but I'd play tennis in a heartbeat because I love it so much :) I think it's a mental game not to worry about every little thing your body does, and just enjoy life. Good show, you two....lots of laughs. :)

Please, Sebastian, do NOT listen to that ignoramus about raising your puppy. His ideas about raising a dog come from the 1950's!!! Feed that pup 2 times a day. You can give him fresh, real food, not that garbage kibble that Pete buys at Walmart. And watermelon, bananas, apples are all good things to feed the pup...just don't give little Luigi too much. Sometimes raw fruits & veggies are hard to digest for pups. And to get an idea how big the dog will be as an adult, take his weight at 4 months old and double it, then add/subtract 10 pounds. That will give you an estimate. No one can know for sure because you basically have a mutt, a mix of two dog breeds, so you can end up with anything as to size. My last dog, a golden doodle, was supposed to be between 45 and 50 pounds. She ended up being 64 pounds as an adult.
