This man had everything, and apart from being a huge physical presence on the pitch, he was fast , very fast, and few could run him down when he was in full flight. My father, an Englishman who is no longer with us, absolutely loved Chabal.

@@johnaskham799 USA Eagles do not have the capital that say for instance Dallas Cowboys have. Rugby is not a popular school sport like in South Africa. If USA had to have an elite Rugby Championship in each State with Clubs I reckon they will be able to produce a World Cup winning side. NZ has only 4 million people, Wales have 3 million.

What they protect in crushed bones and bruises you gain in speed, strength, confidence and great great decelerations of the brain on impact. Because you feel less damages on tackles and impact you go harder but your brain and articulations suffers way more. That's why there is less problems in MMA than professional boxing regarding death and brain damages. Same with rugby, you never see people tackle head first into another man heads because that would mean to much damages even for the tackler. Thing you see every other game in NFL (less now with the new rules, thanks god)

Je ne le dis pas parce que je suis Française, mais parce qu'il est reconnu comme tel partout dans le monde,.. Vous y verrez des gestes techniques exceptionnels des 2 côtés, et un suspens énorme. Nous avons, tous les ans une compétition en Europe, qui s'appelle le tournoi des 6 nations... J'ai vu un match exceptionnel dimanche dernier, entre deux équipes capables de coups de génie : France/Ecosse, à tel point que les supporters des 2 équipes , et donc des 2 pays, n' ont que des commentaires aimables et admiratifs pour l'équipe adverse. C'est aussi ça le rugby : le fair play et le respect...

I knew a couple US college club Rugby players we employed that were some of the toughest men I knew, one the best fighter ever, destroyed 3 men in a fight once. I imagine this man was one of the toughest human beings that ever graced a field, that ever lived.

Today - and with British referees - half of these plays would be red cards and the other half yellow cards. Atonio suspended 3 weeks (so I won't play vs England...) for very much less than this.
