Working hundreds or thousands of hours to be suddenly dropped into a color coded ending just to throw the game aside for the glory of EA's pocket book. I will never be that invested in a game again because they always end in disappointment. Story of life I suppose.

Damn straight, I just finished Mass Effect 3 for the first time, and although I didn't mind the ending, I can't get why people say that 'ME3 ruined the entire franchise' all when the ending was the only dubious thing about it, other then that It was brilliant.

Because people cared quite a lot for the story, in the end your decisions felt like they didn't count. I mean, in a way they did because it affected the outcome you could chose. It was a journey that came to an end it gave me closure. I loved it. It's Commander Shepard's story and the other who joined them on the journey to save the entire galactic populous from annihilation. However, Shepard's story ends at the end of Mass Effect 3 and that's where Bioware had envisioned it to end. Yet, being the people and society we are we cared for the character who joined us on our journey and to not know what became of the was upsetting to some. For me honestly, I was satisfied with my journey and I enjoyed the ending. When they came out with extra content I enjoyed it even more.
