The biggest problem is that SEBI certified people/Analysts are themselves not good investors....their advices are very generic . From knowledge perpective, SEBI certified people are not at all experts .... My portfolio was guided by SEBI certified guy long back and it never did well. It is just a regulatory requirement that Stock advises has to be given by SEBI certified guys.....It doesnt mean that those guys are experts.... I hardly saw any SEBI cetified guy making millions from stock market investing . Its just a regulatory requirement.... Never expect great returns if you consider advices from sebi certified guys...Returns would be in parity with fixed deposits ....
