That double grinder system is so effective.as you can see un other videos, the end/ fine shipper is often blocked bye huge chunks of material. Here with the pre shredd is optimum feeding ratiln for both machines. More money for renting/ using, but more than twice as fast!

Kunststoff (Folien, hart Plastik) Altpapier (Zeitungen, Karton, Bücher ect.)

The video is Swedish, here in Scadinavia recycling is a big thing at municipal run recycling stations. Though I can't speak entirely for Sweden I'm pretty sure it's quite similar to Denmark where I'm at. One of the sorting grades at the recycling station is "Indoor wood" which simply is any kind of wood that is NOT pressure treated. It's chipped down like this and recycled as OSB-, chip- or particleboards, as well as MDF. Though there's quite a lot of painted wood in this pile it's likely more the non-consumer grated products that comes out of it since it needs a better finish :-)

Surely this is inefficient? Why isn't the initial waste wood dropped onto a conveyor, to be dropped straight into the shredder? Then after the second shredder, be conveyed straight to the burning station. Or is that a daft idea?
@bobdevreeze47414 жыл бұрын
Pre treating (using the breaker to feed the chipper) takes a huge amount of stress off the chipper .. allows faster processing and would actually work out cheaper in tons per hour.

@@Zteffe666 , Greetings from Illinois, USA. I know of a pallet recycling company that after rebuilding used pallets, they will grind up all their scraps and junk pallets, the chips are run through a magnet to remove nails, and the chips are hauled to a mulch facility to be colored for landscaping. They are run through another magnet before bagging. It may be different where you're from. Stay Safe.

@@genedameier8746 cool to hear how you guys do it over there. Here in Sweden almost all recycled wood end up at heating/power plants. But it's getting more common to reclaim building material such as doors, windows, and old boards, to be used again :) There's actually very litte "waste" at our recycling facilities. Over 95% (i think it's close to 99%) is being recycled. So gladly there's not much to send to landfills :)

@samkom333 жыл бұрын
The nails and other steel get separated by a magnet belt after the 2nd grinder! Notice the little container there. The first shredder just reduce the lenght of the long wood so that it dont block the inlet of the final grinder. everune that have played with sticks - mikado as a kid knows what happend if you throws a pile of stiks pointing averyhere into a small hole. hehe www.24hshop.no/pub_images/large/56446.jpg
