RIP Jim...You provided race fans with so many great drives. Just one more reason to hate Covid. Thoughts are with your family and close friends...

I do about 12 track days a year at Sebring with Chin. I watch this video at nights before track days when staying at the Seven Hotel just to see the lines a master like Jim takes.

That’s what I’m doing right now except it’s with PBOC instead of Chin!

You should try the Inn on the Lakes hotel if you haven't already. Super nice place and plenty of old racing photos in the bar/restaurant.

Those bumps on the concrete surface makes this a difficult track even with a well damped suspension

Great ride, in a great car. I don't think I could have talked during a lap at Sebring when I raced my 3.0 RSR there in '75 and '77. The old 5.2 mile track was VERY rough, but still managed to finish.
@historicsportscars5 жыл бұрын
We were curious if that was you. We had your RSR at Daytona a few years ago! Love to see you at an event!
@Cmoredebris5 жыл бұрын
@@historicsportscars. The #30 RSR I drove to a Sebring 12hr win in '77 (also 2nd in '75) is now in Sweden. I'm building another RSR now and plan on doing a few historic events in 2020.

@@Cmoredebris We'd love to have you! The car ran with us in 2016. Bobby Rahal and another gentlemen drove it. Not sure where it is now, but it was in Daytona with us :)

@@historicsportscars The RSR is now in Sweden, as a part of a very large Porsche collection. Yes, I'd like to race at Sebring in one of your events. Who should I talk to at HSR?
