Alford has said independent is not an option. FSU won't go to Big 12. They better be coming up with a stay in the ACC plan.

Regarding FSU, it is clear they've burned a number of relationships. Those relationships are essential for their precious AAU status leading to B1G invite. While I don't think AAU adds any members for the next 2-5 years. FSU sufficiently pissed off enough members, they are not jumping ahead of more deserving schools (e.g., NCSU/VT). Don't speak ill of Stanford and expect AAU.
