Totally agree. Idk who said that bc we were throwing up brick after brick in the first half. They came out in the second half and didn’t shoot any threes for like 10 minutes and went up ten almost instantly

Igor fell in love with 3s that he just wasnt hitting. But the whole team throwin up too many 3s lately. They need to he a little more inside outside. Okpara wasnt getn many touches before and showed how he can help today. Gainey been waiting to take over. Those mid range shots open up the kick to Lanier for better shots from him. And Phillips had good minutes today. 7 and 3. If Igor comes back and takes it to the hole more and take close in shots, he will help us better.

@@MrJshoxen yeah. He's like Aidoo in decline sorta. But if you dont at least get him some touches we're throwing up over 30 3s and missing alot of them. We gotta play more inside out and i think we did today and it paid off. Okpara had solid numbers today as a result.

Lanier was pretty productive today offensively but how about Gainey tho! He really stepped up and did his boy ZZ proud!! He did a really good job I think. He has gotta be one of the best 6th men in the country. Okpara had a really solid game too. And Mashack never has no standout numbers but that dude puts in work especially defensively....8 rebs, 8 points, 5 assists...the dude always does his part. Proud of this team. Much needed conference win after that shitshow robbery at Auburn. GO VOLS. FUN FACT: TN held Florida to a season low of 44 points, and Florida held TN to a season low of 43 in their first game lol. Pretty wild similarity there.

Do you think Zeigler being out go helped in a weird way. Against Kentucky he was be guarded by someone 8-9 inches taller. He also missed 10 out of 11 three's. I'm an outsider but it seems to have been the difference today.

Yup. I like our big man play. I love zeigler, but teams just defend us in a way that benefits us better with the bigs lineup. I agree Igor needs to go from 6 attempts from 3 to about 3-4 and take those inside like you said
