If Bama never won another game, the fans of my age have enjoyed the greatest two runs of superiority that any fanbase has ever seen! I'm 72 and grew up with the Bear Bryant Dynasty, saw the lean years after Bear until 1991, when the Great Gene Stallings smothered Miami for a Natty. Then, to have the Saban Dynasty all through my 50's, 60's and now...Unbelievable!!! We either Win or are in the hunt every year. The talent and coaching are the Envy of every fan in CFB, even Georgia's short run of excellence is Miles Removed from the Greatest Program, Greatest Run of Superiority and Genius Coaching and Program Builder in the Universe!!!

Saban said part of last seasons shortcomings were that the team let up because they had some star players. I think he’s using this year’s QB situation to make sure that doesn’t happen again. He’s playing chess.

I don’t care what our record is this year, I just want to see a BAMA football team that actually WANTS to play on Saturdays. Never thought I would say we have looked flat, disinterested, hesitant, timid, clueless, unorganized for 2 years (really 3 years but we turned it around in 2021 to end the season). Especially on defense and the lines of scrimmage. We used to played fired up and pissed off. Not too much to ask to see our players have a little passion and pride in their performance. I think we got rid of some selfish players which is good. Secondly I’d like to see leadership for a change. Haven’t had good effective leadership for 2 years either and that’s not me basing it off wins.

I think Dabo is having trouble keeping his old consistency of winning like he use to. I believe tho Clemson will be a contender this year. Kirby we all know will be there. Bama has to work hard but I believe at minimum we lose one game possibly go undefeated. Every now and then tho it takes one lose to kick em in gear to play better but theres always a rare moment you have just a dominant focused team. My point being I agree with you I don't think there stay in college long enough to break Saban's records and even if one did it would be kirby not Dabo.
