Texas Tech SHOULD run the big12 now. I think they have the most money and have recruited the best as of late. But honestly, I doubt any team will ever run the conference, anytime one coach goes on a really good run they will get bought out by the Auburns or Miamis of the world. Also none of the teams have an overwhelming money advantage over everyone else which will leave a ton of parity.

No they don't. And no ND isn't. Kelley made it to the national championship too and a four team playoff. If they win one before LSU or consistently make final fours then yes. But it also must be noted that it's a different world than when Kelley was the head coach there. But Marcus Freeman has the potential to overtake Brian Kelley and I think he will But he hasn't yet in anything but likeability.

I disliked Miami in the 80’s because of their arrogant attitude on the field, not that they won a lot of games. IMHO they were great but too cocky.

...yea, exactly. Brian kelly has been around a long time and hasn't won it all, and then Marcus freeman goes and almost does in 3 years what kelly inferred was impossible at ND, win it all. Brian kelly is a politician, a snake, a say whatever i have to say to look good kind of person, he's fake, not to mention he mocked all of Louisiana to their faces when he did that accent when he was introduced. Still can't believe they accepted that, kinda fuels the stereotype about the south when it comes to intellect, i woulda fired him immediately for that but hey that's just me, I want someone genuine and not full of shit leading my program. As it is in all things though LSU, you deserve what you tolerate, and hopefully this will be the last year you tolerate him so i can get back to rooting for you, because i cannot and will not root for a program that is presided over by someone like that. Your last coaches were all so genuine too, Miles, Saban, Coach O, no one would ever question those men being absolutely true to themselves and who they are as a person, idk i couldn't believe it when you hired him and i still can't believe it. Hopefully he underperforms again and you finally fire him 🙏
