The LSU Tigers went into Tuscaloosa and showed the country why they are the undisputed #1 team in the nation after a 46-41 victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide. In addition to all but guaranteeing their trip to Atlanta, they also buried Alabama's chances to make it to the College Football Playoff.

You guys need to become huge Penn State fans, and pray to whatever higher power you believe in that Penn State can beat Ohio State. Because if Ohio State goes undefeated they are in, Clemson will be in, LSU likely in, and if Oregon wins out, they are likely in. I doubt they sit a 1 loss conference champion from the PAC if Oregon doesnt lose a game in conference. This is also assuming you beat Auburn. Which you may not. They are tough to beat at home. If you lose to Auburn you are toast. If Auburn wins out, they would be more likely to get in as a 2 loss team than a 2 loss Alabama. Auburn has played 10x the schedule as Bama.

David Porter I think that LSU, Ohio State, and Clemson are in no matter what(unless they lose but that’s unlikely). After that it comes down to the best one loss team. Oregon and Oklahoma probably need to lose for Alabama to get in. And of course they need to beat Auburn. Still, I think there is a very plausible set of events that could lead to Alabama’s return to the playoff for the sixth straight season. I’ve seen it happen before. Either way, Roll Tide!

Like it or not, there is some truth to that. The worse the Ms State team is, the better they seem to do against Bama. Remeber, the last time MSU beat Bama was when that was the only game MSU won that year......And it was with Saban at the helm. But this year, Ill be happy if MS State just makes the spread.
