The thought of end of regular season, sec championship, and playoff games all being A&M vs. TU (and none at TU's home) and giving them all 3 of their losses kept dancing in my head. National Championship or not, that would have been the best A&M season ever.

Anyone remember in 1975 when we went undefeated all season on our way to a national championship and Texas beats us in our annual showdown. @@themayor3263 where LSU had to get away from the running game because Texas AM was crowding the line of scrimmage. There was lots of opportunities to really open up on this defense Ness Meyer lack of mobility and frankly he’s poor decision-making and lack of accuracy killed them today. How many times you see him roll out the pocket. He had 10 yards in front of him, but instead he kept running to the sideline and then throw it very inaccurate ball. I’ll throw it away. That’s the problem that you take when you decide to go with a quarterback, who does mobility today’s and footballteams like Texas A&M knows this so they blitz every play and that’s cracked. The good news is at least we know he will not be quarterback next year and they got Collins/Hurley or maybe underwood that’s gonna take over and this team is gonna explode next year

That $76 million buyout for Jimbo was worth it. Elko is HIM. Edit: since I’ve created an argument, let me explain why: 1. This is one of the least talented teams in terms of star talent out of high school, yet the strongest looking team since the days of Johnny Football. 2. Elko is in his first year and this is the first time since joining the SEC that A&M has started 5-0 in conference play. 3. Jimbo failed to win games he was supposed to win. Elko is winning those games and then some. 4. Elko explained this in his postgame press conference but he’s eliminated the culture of NIL and mercenaries and players are buying into his philosophies.
