Good riding! I went off course about 4 times, ribbons were missing. Had fun though, and that is what counts.

Good vid. How did you get your timers going for each lap? Did you set it up on the video editor?

it's kinda complicated to explain, but actually easy to do with the Telemetry Overlay app. I have to manually click the button for each lap. I start the lap 1 timer at the green flag and stop it when the front wheel hits the electronic timer arch, then simultaneously start the next lap timer and so on. The whole process of extracting the GPS data and setting the timers and then exporting that into the Power Director app is very time consuming. The laptop does all the processing so you can set it down and do other things for a few hours... Thanks for watching!

@@alchrisr01 Thx. I get the process. I've used my telemetry from my gopro. My Garmin does laps and I've used that telemetry too now you mentioned your timer system. I found it a lot of work however. What timer do you use and what app if you don't mind sharing. Thx.

If you win the Class are you required to move up? I don't see any repeat winners in any of the classes from year to year. If you are then where would you go? There is 60 class in the B set.

hey Doug. Technically, I think the rules require a move up in most cases if certain conditions are met. us old guys really aren't forced to move up but some move to a different age group. last year's champ, John Griffin, moved to C50+. It would be nice to defend your championship though. Loks like i don't have to worry about it this year😂. Thanks for watching and hope you guys make it back to our series soon.

clarification from the rule book: 2024 Official Rulebook 2/17/2024 Promoters discretion will apply to all rules VI. Rider Advancement: a. Any B rider in the top 20 overall from the previous season moves to A class. i. Vet Class winners outside of top 20 overall must move to a younger age group (B 40+ to B 30+) b. Any C rider inside the top 10 C overall must advance to B the following season. i. Vet Classes 6-10th OA must move up to a younger age class following year eligible to stay in C. ii. Vet Classes winners outside top 10 overall must move up to a younger age group. (C 55+ to C 50+) c. Any Beginner rider must move to C after the 2 nd podium finish, 1st win, or > 75% Adv Percentile d. Top 3 Youth A promoted to Junior for adult race the following year. e. If a rider shows, they are clearly in the wrong class promoters hold the right to advance rider after the event. If advancements fall due to lack of participation or other outstanding reasons, we hold the right to overrule.

Man, I washed the bike and put it on the lift and have not touched it yet. While doing the edits on this I wondered the same thing!
