Nice run Chris. You got me when I overshot that turn (dust) on the 4th lap. That was a remarkable come back from your start and the stalling issue. I would have probably given up but you showed me what perseverance is all about. See you next race !

I appreciate the compliment Randy. I think i had to pass everybody from 3rd on back at least twice! I have got to find out what is causing this stalling issue. I thought I had it figured out last week but the engine just shut off for no reason at around the 9:00 minute mark of the video. See you and Keith in Prattville.

Good riding Chris ive always loved dirtbikes and riding them and watching your videos brings the same excitement as riding them its almost as if im on the dirtbike lol but keep up the good work and good luck with the stalling problem

Thanks for watching. I took 27 years off of the dirt and started back in 2020. I now have a great time with my son and grandsons! This weekend I will be riding my son's Sherco 300 with e-start. I don't think the RMZ can be solved without an aftermarket ECU. Maybe i just need to ride harder!

You've improved a lot this year Chris! I wish the execs at Suzuki would find this video. They might then understand the importance of e-start on dirt bikes. BTW, you need a bike with a button.

Thanks Donnie! I really appreciate to compliment. I was trying harder than it looks on video....You are correct on the button, CJ is on me hard about that. At around the 9:00 mark it just died for no reason. almost like a fuel delivery issue. I made an adjustment to the idle/mixture screw and it seemed to make a difference. I plan to ride CJ's bike at SERA Childersburg just to get a feel.

Maybe one of the many times i stalled it?😁 Lap 4 near the end some riders were getting by.

just looked at the lap times, looks like lap 3 maybe. we were 30 seconds apart.

@@mydirtbikestuff That was not me at 1:33:00 :/ Wow. I never saw me again but looked like you had a good race up to there not counting the stalls. I had a RMZ450 and I loved but it was really, really hard to start after a stall. I would still be on it but the YZ250FX is just so much better with the button and in the woods. Suzuki contingency money makes me wish they had a RM with an electric start!

I finally have the handling pretty decent, now if i can fix the stalling issue.. i am getting lots of grief for not getting something else.

@@mydirtbikestuff Put a Rekluse on it and let her rip. The core will let you use the clutch like normal and if you want but a Z Start pro will be bullet proof and easy.

😀 No worries. This was an old video before i started trying to diagnose the issue. I have replaced the fuel pump and rebuilt the topend and am pretty confident it is fixed. i will probably ride it this weekend. I have been riding a KTM 350 SX-F and really like it! Thanks
